● The MONTE SION porcelain water filter is made of genuine porcelain and features a beautiful hand-painted cobalt blue finish. With an innovative design, it offers the same functionality as a ceramic clay filter.
● In addition, it is equipped with a "Triple Action" sterilizing ceramic filter cartridge, with a microporous wall that reduces impurities present in the water + activated carbon that reduces odors, tastes and chlorine content, and internally coated with silver nanoparticles that sterilize the water, eliminating 99.9% of bacteria present in the water.
● Class A (≥ 0.5 to 1 micron)
● The filter is handmade entirely from porcelain, a material with a smooth (non-porous) surface, which facilitates cleaning and maintenance, promoting better hygiene and preventing the formation of microorganisms, helping to keep the water naturally fresh and healthy.

HISTORY
● Founded in 1959 in southern Minas Gerais, Porcelana Monte Sion specializes in the handcrafted production of blue and white porcelain. The production process is entirely artisanal, similar to that of Dutch and Portuguese porcelain, with pieces finished and painted by hand. Monte Sion porcelains possess unique beauty and qualities; no two pieces are alike. They are highly resistant and durable, timeless pieces that complement any environment.

● NOTE: On first use, rinse all parts of the filter under running water. However, if necessary, for a more thorough cleaning (internal and external), you can use a clean (degreased) and soft sponge with a few drops of neutral (unscented) liquid soap and rinse well, taking great care not to let the sponge slip from your hands or cause other damage (never use abrasive sponges).
● NOTE: It is not necessary to dry the internal parts of the filter (this applies to all filters sold in our Official Store), dry only the external parts.
● NOTE: For the plastic parts (tap and float), follow the washing method described above, but for the filter cartridge, rinsing with tap water is sufficient to remove production residues (do not pour water into the cartridge tube).
● NOTE: The "Triple Action" ceramic sterilizing cartridge, as well as the entire filter, should be thoroughly rinsed every 2 months (bimonthly maintenance). Never use soap or other products to clean the cartridges; Washing with clean hands and running water is sufficient, without the need to disassemble the filter accessories (it is normal for the cartridge to darken with use, a sign of proper functioning).
● NOTE: Remember that the ceramic cartridge must be replaced every 6 months (use only original "Triple Action" cartridges).
● NOTE: After fully assembling the filter, choose where to position it and, using a clean container, fill the upper reservoir (4L). We recommend discarding the first 8 liters of filtered water before consumption (this process serves to rinse the cartridge internally).

● ATTENTION: As the MONTE SION porcelain filter is handmade, the pieces may present slight variations in tone, design and shape.

It's an economical and ecologically sustainable solution, avoiding the constant purchase of bottled water, which, besides being economically disadvantageous, represents one of the biggest problems for the environment.
